Hello,
Mouna holds a doctorate and teaches marketing; she has offered to lend us a
hand.
If it suits you, she could handle contacting libraries that manage
karst-related data, introduce them to the UIS Bibliography Commission, and
invite them to join.
I also suggested that she facilitate discussions on the BBS mailing list (
bbs(a)listes.grottocenter.org) to ensure regular information exchange among
the commission members.
Mouna,
The Bibliography Commission is chaired by
Jean-Marc Mattlet (jeanmarc(a)mattlet.be),
who is Belgian and passionate about publications dealing with the
underground environment.
Also serving on the commission's leadership team are:
Luca Pisani (biblioteca.speleologia(a)unibo.it),
librarian at the Italian Speleological Society library;
and Anamaria D. Häuselmann (ana(a)speleo.ch),
president of the Scientific Commission of the Swiss Speleological Society.
It is this commission that has provided the bulk of the funding for the UIS
Bibliography Commission for many years.
You can contact the commission's entire management team directly by sending
a message to bbs-mngt(a)listes.grottocenter.org, or contact us directly.
Frédéric
