Speleological journals and periodicals for GIFT to libraries!!! by Franco Anelli library (IT)
Dear colleagues, One year has almost passed since the meeting at the 19° ICS in Brazil. However, i didn't forget about the goal that we pointed out, to make the Commission work again on the exchange strategies of doubles between UIS libraries and documentation centers. After some months we were able to set up a list of doubles from our collections of journals and periodicals. We have divided the lists by countries. Actually, we have the lists of France 🇫🇷, Switzerland 🇨🇭, UK 🇬🇧, USA 🇺🇸, Cuba 🇨🇺... Others will come soon. For each country you will find a list sorted by magazine, with yellow-highlighted and crossed items that have already been donated and not available.
We are sending these lists for possible donations to libraries that want to fill the holes in their collections or to expand their heritage. So they are free of charge (except the eventual cost of shipment).
In case this message does not reach the responsible for exchanges of your library, please feel free to re-direct this email to them.
I hope that this can help some of the libraries that are part of this Commission I look forward to hearing from you 🙂
